Our Eko Ocean Coast cooking vacations are available for a minimum of 2 people. A sample itinerary follows, but we can easily customize the week to suit your tastes!
Day One The program may be altered slightly due to weather, season, and opening and closing time of establishments.

Transfer from LOS Murtala Muhammed International Airport to Victoria Island. Check in to your 5star Sheraton Lagos Hotel
This evening, enjoy a welcome drink at the Poolside bar, then a 3-course dinner at the hotel’s restaurant (beverages not included, paid locally).
Overnight.

Day Two

Following breakfast, depart for a driving excursion to Lekki Conservation Centre to discover the longest Canopy wall in Africa. The untouched natural vegetation that houses various plant and animal species. Experience a guided tour of the site.
Return to VI, late afternoon for one of the week’s highlights, a cooking class with a family at their private villa in town. On this family estate, prepare a full meal and taste their family wine. Dinner to follow with local wine. You then be returned to the hotel.
Overnight.

Day Three

Breakfast, followed by some time to relax, perhaps by the pool.
After we go for a driving excursion to Nike Art Centre, Lagos, to see Nigeria's hidden treasures Located in Lekki, a four-story building compromising of an art gallery and textile museum featuring over 7,000 pieces. The Centre has a diverse collection of art by a multitude of artists, offering visitors an insight into all cultures of Nigeria through the medium of art.
Return to apartment later in the late afternoon to refresh, rest and take part in a making demonstration of Eastern-Nigeria Vegetarian Salad and Chicken-Nkwobi with an English-speaking “Chef” who will prepare your ENV Salad + Chicken-Nkwobi in the local process while you watch and learn.
Enjoy your customized ENV Salad + Chicken-Nkwobi creations for Late Lunch.
In the Evening, head to downtown Lekki for a Suya making class. Following class, taste your favorite Suya. Return to the hotel via the hotel’s shuttle.
Dinner on the Suya and other delicious street foods ordered.

Day Four

After breakfast, depart by private Shuttle for the beautiful island of Lekki for a full-day trip to Landmark beach. This very special day will include with 3 hours on Jet skiing, 1hour Volleyball and 3 hours on the island to explore on your own. (If unavailable due to weather an alternate excursion will be proposed.)
Return to the hotel and time to relax before dinner.
Dinner at a local restaurant in Lekki (drinks included), and overnight.

Day Five

Breakfast.
In the morning tour on Ikeja City Mall, where a family has preserved a thousand-year-old tradition of making cheese. Not only that, you will visit the sea basket restaurant, a nice set up for Nigeria sea foods, you’ll also taste different foods by your choice restaurant, including Kremp donuts. Catch some movies at the Cinema which also included popcorn and a bottle of soft drink.
Afternoon we go shopping. Perhaps explore the town of Lekki and Environs; In Lagos city, there is an abundance of shops from designer brands to locally produced goods, such as linens. lastly, enjoy the 15-minute walk to the main square.
Dinner on your own to confirm the progress so far.
Overnight.

Day Six

Breakfast.
On the Six day, you will enjoy a full-day visit to the famous Foods Ingredients Market, with your first stop at Mile 12 market, a very large market highly dominant of different tribes in Nigeria, majorly known for food stuffs, like Vegetables, Rice, Pepper/Tomatoes, Onions etc. While here, we will buy some cooking ingredients then head to Oyingbo Market – another large ancient market in the vicinity of Ebute Meta, deals on Stock fish of different species, Crayfish, local delicacies.
Then finally to IJORA FISH Market to buy some Large Live Fishes, and ABATTOIR Market – where cows, sheep, cattle etc are sold and slaughtered daily.
Drive back to Apartment to Learn some cooking Preparations of Fisherman Soup, Pepper & Tomatoes Stew, Prepare Grilled meat & Fish (ie Suya). Lunch to follow after efforts in preparing the Foods, along with a natural Homemade fruit Juice by you.
At the evening, will continue your day on the Island Streets with stops in such famous Entertaining Joints to have fun.
Return to Apartment to get dressed for your farewell dinner+ drinks + Gifts at the hotel.

The hotel also provides a shuttle, and we have a Company standby Ride, should you like to take it into town.
